Without buying the ticket
What “without paying” really means
You do not buy the flight, so you lose no ticket price if your plans change. You only pay a small amount for the reservation itself.
What you pay
A fixed amount for the reservation service, shown before you pay. Never the price of the ticket.
What you receive
A reservation created in the airline’s system, in your name, with a reference you can look up on its “manage booking” page. Sent by email within minutes.
Why not a “free” reservation?
Sites that promise a free flight reservation usually send an edited PDF with no booking behind it. The reference returns nothing on the airline’s website, and presenting it as real can be treated as a false document.
Made for visa files, check-in and border checks
A reservation in your name with a booking reference anyone can verify, the document many consulates and airlines ask for. They make the decision: our country guides give the official rule.
How to use the document
Use it as a clear support document, not as a shortcut
Keep the document aligned with your real travel explanation and verify official requirements before you submit it.
-
Choose a plausible route
Use dates and airports that fit the trip you intend to explain at check-in, border control, or in a visa file.
-
Review the passenger details
Names, dates, and route details should match your passport and the rest of your travel documents.
-
Present it honestly
An onward ticket is supporting proof of an intended itinerary, not a visa guarantee or a final boarding document.

Can you reserve a flight without paying?
Airlines sell tickets, and most do not hold a seat for free. Some offer a paid option to keep a fare for a few days, only on their own flights. With Safeonward you get a real reservation in your name without buying the ticket: you only pay for the reservation service.
Is it free?
No. You do not pay for the ticket, but the reservation service has a small fixed price, shown before you pay. Be careful with “free” flight reservations: they are usually edited PDFs that no airline can find.
How long does the reservation last?
48 hours as standard. You can also pay now and activate it later, when you need it; it then stays active for 48 hours.
Can the airline or the embassy check it?
Yes. The reservation has a real booking reference (PNR). Anyone can enter it with your surname on the airline’s website, and you can check it yourself first.
What happens after 48 hours?
The reservation is released automatically. You have nothing to cancel and nothing more to pay.
Can I board the plane with it?
No. It is a reservation, not a paid ticket, so it cannot be used to board the reserved flight.
